As the world comes together to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) has challenged everyone in the gaming industry to “Paint Gaming Pink!” and help raise funds for lifesaving research. The first 25 creators who sign up to fundraise using Streamlabs Charity and raise $500 or more will receive a Blue Yeti "Pink Dawn" Microphone*.
Globally, breast cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer deaths in women. In the U.S., one in eight women and one in 833 men will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetimes. Unfortunately, every gamer likely knows someone who has already been impacted—or will be diagnosed in the future.
Since 1993, BCRF-supported investigators have been deeply involved in every major advance in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, metastasis, and survivorship. Thanks to BCRF’s supporters’ generosity, the foundation has funded more than 14 million hours of research, bringing us all closer to prevention and cure.
