Summer is almost here! As the heat kicks in, we’ve made some hot feature releases, just in time to prep you for the ultimate streamcation. Here is a quick TLDR version of the updates & events of last month.
Studio mode
Studio mode has arrived on Streamlabs Desktop, which means you can seamlessly edit your sources and upgrade your stream production. Goodbye awkward live editing on stream, and hello buttery scene editing!
Streamlabs True Cloud Backup
Streaming just got a lot easier with the True Cloud Backup feature on Streamlabs Desktop. Since all of your media assets will be backed up on our cloud server, you can stream on any pc wherever, whenever you want with your media assets on Streamlabs Desktop.
Sponsor Banner
We’ve got a new widget for you to spruce up your stream: shout out your sponsors, your social media, your upcoming etc with the new Sponsor Banner widget. Think of it as a mini slideshow on your stream. You can add your sponsor banners, memes, cute animal pics, and social media flyers however you like.
Crypto Tipping
Great news, all Streamlabs users can level up their tipping experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash support. You can also shout out the crypto donations with our awesome widgets. We will be adding more crypto coins in the future, so stay tuned!
Streamlabs Turns 4!
We started off as a small group of gamers and streamers who wanted to help streamers do what they love by providing fun and engaging alerts. Four years later, Streamlabs has become the most used tools platform in the livestreaming community. Thank you all so much for your support! We wouldn’t be here without our wonderful community.
Call To arms
In honor of Military Awareness month, Streamlabs teamed up with StackUp provided a week full of fun and engaging charity streams, featuring your favorite streamers: itsHafu, Kabby, Kephrii, Valkyrae, Punjistick, and Captain16. We helped to raise over $5,000, with the help of our awesome community. Props to everyone who participated in the event!
Ottawa Meetup
Streamlabs and Ottawa Streamers combined forces in May, to help streamers, content creators, game devs, and esports players in the Ottawa to share their love for games and streaming. We’re super happy to hear that the event achieved record number attendance attendees connected and learned from each other. Cheers to livestreaming!
