If you’ve been using Streamlabs for a while, you’re probably familiar with the fantastic tools we built for content creators outside Streamlabs Desktop. One such tool is Crossclip, our powerful, web-based video editor for short-form video content (e,g. TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts.). We’re excited to announce that we are changing Crossclip’s name to Streamlabs Cross Clip to help unify all our tools. But don’t worry; we’re not changing any features or functionality. It’s the same tool you know and love - with a new name and location. Keep reading to learn more!
What Does This Change Mean for You?
Below we’ve outlined how the changes to Streamlabs Cross Clip (formally Crossclip) will affect your experience using the tool.
Streamlabs Creator Resource Hub Will Display Past Cross Clip Blog Posts
If you're a Cross Clip fan, you've probably read the official blog to learn more about the clip editing tool. The blog posts will now appear in the Cross Clip category on Streamlabs Creator Resource Hub, so you can access them whenever needed.
The New Domain Is Now https://crossclip.streamlabs.com
Streamlabs Cross Clip will now live as a subdomain on Streamlabs.com, offering our creators an efficient way to keep all their content creation needs in one place. We understand this change will take some time to get used to, so to help you, we’ve ensured that the old Cross Clip domain will redirect to its new home without you needing to complete any additional steps.
What Will Happen to My Old Clips?
Your biggest concern with this transition is probably what will happen to the clips you made. Your old clips will move to the new subdomain for you to access whenever you like. You can also access all the clips you made on our mobile app.
While adjusting to this change may take some time, we are confident that having all tools in one location will streamline your workflow as a content creator.
What if I Have an Active Crossclip Subscription?
Your subscription will remain active, the features you know and love will remain, and your account details and saved settings will stay the same. You can also upgrade to Streamlabs Ultra, our full suite of premium creator apps, including Cross Clip and premium tools for live streaming, podcasting, recording, editing, branding, and more.
