Patreon creators can now access enhanced live streaming features via Streamlabs Desktop and the Streamlabs Plugin for OBS
SAN JOSE, Calif. – May 21, 2026 – Streamlabs, the Logitech-owned leading provider of live streaming tools, today announced a new native integration with Patreon, the creativity network for creators, fans, and subcultures, to bring Streamlabs’ powerful tools to Patreon creators. Available on both Streamlabs Desktop and the Streamlabs Plugin for OBS, the integration helps creators expand their reach and streamline their live video workflows.
“Live streaming is evolving beyond its gaming roots to generate mainstream cultural impact. As the medium continues to grow, creators need tools that help them to boost their reach and keep their audiences engaged,” said Ashray Urs, Head of Streamlabs. “In partnering with Patreon, we’re opening a world of opportunities for creators to make great content, build deeper connections with viewers, and then turn those connections into a career.”
The integration makes streaming to Patreon directly accessible to Streamlabs users, while delivering added value to fans through key Streamlabs features. To stream, creators can simply open Streamlabs Desktop or the Plugin for OBS, connect their Patreon account, and go live in one click.
In addition to existing co-streaming capabilities directly on Patreon, Patreon is now available as a Multistream option on Streamlabs, allowing creators to stream to their audience at the same time they stream to Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or any other of Streamlabs’ many approved Multistreaming destinations. This capability allows creators to expand their reach across multiple platforms and draw potential new audiences to their Patreon.
Patreon creators now have access to Streamlabs Dual Output, which lets them simultaneously stream both horizontally and vertically to optimize for different platform orientations and viewing formats. Users can also customize their Patreon streams with Streamlabs’ curated overlays to keep branding consistent and memorable across every live stream.
"Our mission is to ensure Patreon creators not only have all the tools they need to grow their business, but also find and deepen relationships with fans that share their interests. Live streaming is one of the most powerful touch points for this, giving creators a way to interact with their most engaged audiences authentically, in real time, and in a space they own,” said Stephanie Smellie, Head of Business Development at Patreon. “Our integration with Streamlabs gives creators even more opportunities to grow their reach and connect with their members.”
The Streamlabs and Patreon integration is now available to all users of Streamlabs Desktop and the plugin for OBS with an active Patreon account. For more about how to go live on Patreon, visit https://streamlabs.com/platforms/patreon.
