After 4 years the time has finally come to sunset TwitchAlerts.com (but Streamlabs is here to stay).
First and foremost, we want to give a massive shoutout to all the streamers who have been with us since the beginning, back when Streamlabs was TwitchAlerts. Together, we grew beyond Twitch and beyond Alerts. Now we help streamers grow on YouTube, Mixer, Facebook, Periscope, and Picarto. Beyond alerts, we’ve built more than 50 powerful tools that help content creators engage and monetize like Streamlabs Desktop, Merch, Face Masks, and so much more. We’ve outgrown the name TwitchAlerts, so it’s time to wish it Bon Voyage.
For all you rockstars who have been with us since the beginning, there’s something we need you to do:
⚠️Replace Your TwitchAlerts Donation URL with Your Streamlabs Donation URL
- Go to your donation page and copy your tipping URL
- Replace it in your streaming profile (or wherever your donation URL is posted)
Doing this right now will make 100% sure that you experience zero service interruptions for your tipping.
⚠️Replace Your TwitchAlerts Browser-Source URL with Your Streamlabs Browser-Source URL
- Go to your alert box page (and each other widget page you’re using)
- Copy the Streamlabs Browser Source for the widget
3. Paste it in your streaming software to replace your TwitchAlerts Browser-Source URL
Doing this right now will make 100% sure that you experience zero service interruptions for your widgets. Thanks in advance!
Looking Back
We came across some of our old designs in our archives from back in the day, and thought you might get a kick out of ‘em.
Before we close, we want to give a shoutout to TwitchAlerts’ OG founder, Tom Maneri. Tom is still a major player on the Streamlabs team, writing code daily that streamers love. Passing the mic to him for some parting thoughts:
?➡️
I’m still in awe when I think about how my “fun weekend project” from 4 years ago has turned into what Streamlabs is today. It’s impossible to not be humbled by the amount of love and support TwitchAlerts has received over the years. Streamlabs will always be TwitchAlerts at its core, but it’s time to evolve and grow with the industry it provides for.
From the entire Streamlabs team, thanks again to everyone who has been with us since the beginning. We continue our commitment to remaining the industry’s leading creator of tools that help you turn your passion into a business.
