How to Set Up Blerp With Streamlabs Desktop
Step 1: Launch Streamlabs Desktop on your computer and click the Streamlabs App Store tab in the left navigation panel.
Step 2: Type Blerp in the search bar and select the tool. Double-click the tool and then select Install to add it to Streamlabs.
Step 3: Double-click Blerp as a source in Streamlabs Desktop. To do so, click the plus sign (+) next to Sources, scroll down to Blerp in the next window (under Apps), and click the Add Source button.
Step 4: Name your newly added source (e.g., Blerp) and click Add Source again when prompted.
Step 5: Configure the settings for the Blerp source. This window has some settings you can change.
- Adjust the size of your source (you can also do this from the Editor in Streamlabs)
- Apply a custom frame rate.
- Choose whether you want to allow Streamlabs Desktop to control audio (recommended)
- Add custom CSS
- Toggle on the “refresh when the scene becomes active” feature
Adding Blerp Sounds for Streamlabs Alerts
You can also download Blerp sounds in Streamlabs Desktop for your Streamlabs Alerts. Below is how you do it:
Step 1: Double-tap the Blerp source in your Streamlabs editor, then select Open App Settings.
Step 2: Select Add Blerp sounds to my Streamlabs alerts in the app settings.
Step 3: Next, browse the sounds to find which ones you’d like to add to your Streamlabs Alerts. Click the download arrow next to the sound you’d like to use.
Step 4: A media player will pop up on your screen once you click the download button. Click the three dots to the player's right, then click Download. The sound will save wherever your downloads usually are on your computer.
Step 5: To use the downloaded sound as a Streamlabs Alerts sound, navigate to your Streamlabs Dashboard and find the alert type you'd like to customize.
Change the sound by removing the currently applied one (if applicable), then upload your downloaded file.
