Here at Streamlabs, we're all for helping creators monetize what they love most—creating amazing content that adds value to their audience. In efforts to help creators streamline tipping when using Streamlabs, we made a few updates that we hope will make tasks such as changing tipping settings, checking tipping history, and managing current tippers much easier. Keep reading to see what we have updated and where to access it.
Where to Find Tipping Settings
You can now see “Tipping” settings listed under the Essentials tab of the left navigation bar from your Streamlabs dashboard.
What’s on the New Tipping Page
Once you’ve selected “Tipping” from the left navigation bar, you'll notice three new sections—Tipping Methods, Tipping History, and Tipping Settings. Below is more information on what you can manage from each section.
Tipping Methods: Connect PayPal, Credit Card, or Unitpay to receive tips. If you don’t have a tipping method connected, you’ll notice a red indicator in the navigation bar.
Tipping History: View your Tips, Monthly Tippers, Cheers, Superchats, Top Tippers, Banned Tippers, and Members.
Tipping Settings: View and update Charity Settings, Monthly Tip Settings, Tip Page Settings, Profanity Settings, and Pro Settings.
Additionally, if you have multiple accounts connected, you’ll be able to customize your tipping URL to match your preferred profile on the right side of your screen by clicking the “pencil” icon to edit the field. Your tip page will still be accessible through any of your usernames, but this will be the primary one.
We hope these new tipping updates improve your experience while using Streamlabs. If you have any feedback, don’t hesitate to share it with us on Twitter.
