Collaborating with fellow streamers on Twitch just got easier with the launch of Streamlabs Shared Twitch Chat. This new feature is designed to merge chat feeds using Twitch’s Stream Together feature, to help simplify chat management going live with others.
What Is Streamlabs Shared Twitch Chat?
Previously known as Guest Star, Twitch’s Stream Together lets creators collaborate by streaming across multiple Twitch channels. Now, instead of the balancing act of managing separate chats, Streamlabs' Shared Twitch Chat allows streamers and moderators to focus on a single chat feed, an overall better experience for everyone involved.
Unified Viewer Experience: Viewers from all participating channels can chat in one place. Everyone is part of the same shared chat experience.
Simplified Moderation: With Streamlabs Shared Twitch Chat, all Mod Tools apply across the board. For example, if a comment is considered offensive on one channel, the same restrictions will apply to both channels, regardless of where it originated.
