Can you provide some background on your channel, how long you’ve been streaming and what you typically like to stream?
I have been streaming full-time for around 4 years. I am a variety streamer that emphasizes on playing multiple different games for my viewers. I like to keep things interactive with my community so they are always choosing the games for us to play. Every day is a new adventure for them and myself, even if the game chosen is something they originally played!
What was it about streaming that initially interested you and inspired you to give it a try?
I actually never wanted to be a streamer. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else. I had, and still have a passion for marketing. I made videos on the side for a small little audience over the years. Eventually, that gained popularity and I fell in love with a community that started to surround them.
I feel like I wasn’t inspired to give streaming a try, rather I was selected by a wonderful community that continues to grow and I strive each day to bring a smile to their face.
What goals or aspirations would you like to achieve this year and in the future?
My streams and content are always community-driven. It has been that way since I started. One of my major goals is to innovate even more ways I can incorporate the streamer viewer experience that breaks new barriers.
Were there other streamers that you looked up to and inspired you to start streaming?
There were quite a few I looked up to and watched. Even though I am not big on FPS-type games in the competitive scene, I will always respect and admire Summit1G. The hard work, dedication, and grind he has provided for his viewers over the years is incredible. Being able to do it myself firsthand, I see how hard it can actually be. For him to not only continue to do it but do it successfully and without losing a skip is inspirational.
Do you have any tips for new streamers entering the space?
Have fun with it and make that your goal. I see many people today wanting to jump right into making it a career. You should not let other opportunities slip right by you. Having tunnel vision on something is good, but can also deter you from other opportunities along the way. I had tunnel vision for being a CMO in a major company with my passion for marketing, but since I gave this a shot, I now get to entertain a wonderful community on a daily basis through live streaming.
